01 / OVERVIEW

VIS VANA, Oman, Industrial Pipeline Valve Package

VIS VANA partnered with TSV Valves for an integrated piping package in the Sultanate of Oman. The order consolidated DN150 PN40 ball, globe and check valves into a single production schedule, verified under EN 10204 3.1 inspection protocols.

Consolidating ball, globe and check valves under one roof eliminated interface mismatches, providing single-source quality certification and unified export logistics.

Consolidation is the real benefit

Ordering a mixed package from a single works removes the coordination cost of matching three suppliers' dimensions, documentation and delivery schedules. The flanges, the face-to-face dimensions and the test records all come from the same place.

For the buyer that shows up as one inspection, one set of shipping documents and one contact when something needs clarifying. On a plant turnaround, that is worth more than a marginal price difference.

A PN rating is not the same as a class

PN40 is a nominal pressure designation from the metric system, and it sits alongside the class system rather than replacing it. The pressure-temperature rating still has to be confirmed against the material and the design temperature, exactly as it does for a class-numbered valve.

That is why a PN order without a design temperature is incomplete in the same way a class order without one is.

Why the smaller orders are recorded too

Our reference list records every order rather than only the large ones, because the pattern across orders is the useful information. Thirty orders from one customer and forty-two from another tell a buyer something that a list of showpiece projects does not.

Questions this page answers

No. They are different designation systems, and the pressure-temperature rating has to be confirmed against the material and the design temperature in both cases rather than assumed.

Yes, and it is normally the cheaper route once the coordination cost of sourcing separately is counted. One drawing set, one test schedule and one shipment.

Yes. The reference list records single-order customers alongside multi-year accounts, and the enquiry is quoted as it stands.
