Approved Manufacturer Listing, OXY 2024 List
An approved manufacturer list is a qualification of a factory, not of a product. The audit is carried out against the owner's own requirements.

Approved Manufacturer Listing, OXY 2024 List
Operator and major-contractor approved manufacturer lists are how large purchasers pre-qualify a supply base. Being on one means the factory itself has been assessed, separately from any individual valve order.
TSV appears on the OXY approved manufacturer list dated 2024. The listing is a qualification of the manufacturing facility against the owner's requirements, and it applies to the range of products the assessment covered.
What the assessment looks at
Approved manufacturer listings generally assess the quality management system, the manufacturing and test equipment, the calibration of that equipment, the documentation practice and the traceability of material and test records.
The differing part is the test scope. The assessor will normally select valves and witness or review the pressure testing, which is why a factory that can produce the records on demand for an arbitrary unit is in a different position from one that can only produce a specimen certificate.
Why it matters beyond the named owner
Being listed by a major operator is evidence that can be referenced by other buyers, since the assessment was carried out by a third party against a demanding specification. It sits alongside the API 6D certificate and the ISO management system certificates as an independent qualification.
It is not a substitute for either. An approved manufacturer listing says the facility was assessed; a product certificate says a specific product design was. Both are needed for different questions.
How to verify a listing
Ask for the listing document with its date and the scope it covers, and confirm it directly with the operator if the order justifies it. Listing documents are dated and are re-issued periodically, so an undated claim is worth very little.
The document is on file with our other certificates and is available on request with the enquiry.
Questions this page answers
A pre-qualification of a factory by an operator or contractor, assessed against that owner's requirements. It qualifies the facility rather than an individual product.
No. It answers a different question. The listing says the facility was assessed; product certificates such as API 6D cover specific designs.
Ask for the dated document and its scope, and confirm it with the issuing operator where the order justifies it. Listings are re-issued periodically, so the date matters.
